Background
Located in the northeastern region of India, Punjab is the agricultural breadbasket of the country. Rural Punjab consists of mainly farmers and laborers. Although boasting a rich history of culture and growth, today Punjab has degraded into a state of social instability and political corruption.
Progressive Sikh Foundation has many different projects and programs to support groups in rural Punjab. We strive to promote Sikhi as well as help meet society's growth needs. Our primary focus is to provide education opportunities and guidance, create avenues for economical pursuit, and promote Sikhi in Sikh youth of Punjab.
